Role Overview

Fashion Nova is building a world-class engineering team to power our next phase of growth. Were investing heavily in scalable high-impact technology platformsand were looking for a Mobile Software Engineer with strong React Native experience to help bring them to life.

In this role youll design and build high-performance mobile applications for iOS and Android collaborating closely with product design and platform teams. Youll play a key role in shaping our mobile architecture delivering polished user experiences and contributing to a fast-moving highly collaborative environment.

What Youll Do

• Build pixel-perfect buttery-smooth UIs across iOS and Android
• Architect and develop reusable scalable UI components
• Optimize application performance reliability and maintainability
• Leverage native APIs for deep platform integrations
• Debug and resolve performance bottlenecks and production issues
• Write clean well-documented code and maintain automated test coverage
• Partner with product and design to deliver innovative mobile experiences
• Engage with the open-source community to help improve mission-critical tooling (React Native moves fast!)

What You Bring

• 3 years of experience with React and/or React Native
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript / TypeScript (ES6)
• Experience building testable maintainable codebases and APIs
• Solid understanding of third-party dependencies and conflict resolution
• Familiarity with native build tools (Xcode CocoaPods)
• Experience with automated testing (Jest Appium Playwright)
• Knowledge of mobile performance memory management and multithreading

Nice to Have

• Experience with Shopify APIs GraphQL Firebase
• Exposure to Swift and/or Kotlin
• App Store and Google Play publishing experience
• CI/CD pipelines Sauce Labs or mobile automation infrastructure
