Job Summary
Essential Responsibilities
Provides coverage for reception duties and greets/manages Epic patient check in process.
Process requested image information and reports for patient appointments.
Answer phones.
Does outgoing physician mail.
Files/scans correspondence electronically and film in a manner prescribed by the Radiology Department.
Operates all file room equipment (duplicating equipment - PACS Vidar Scanner PACS Scanner Rimage ICAD Nuance PowerShare AQ Net Barco Monitors).
Maintain daily print job production logs and daily delivery requests.
Troubleshoot equipment problems.
Perform daily/weekly/monthly maintenance/reports on equipment as required.
Imports/exports/prints/digitize patient images.
Participates in peer competencies.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Other Responsibilities
All other responsibilities as assigned in accordance with qualifications.
Job Qualifications
Education
Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
Preferred: Clerical course in high school.
Experience
Required: One year clerical experience.
Required: Experience with computers.
Preferred: Hospital experience in clerical setting.
Certification/Licensure/Registration N/A
Skills and Abilities
Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
Ability to actively and professionally communicate with patients physicians and fellow employees.
Ability to upgrade knowledge on computer applications
