Job Summary

Special Education Paraprofessional John Ashley Kindergarten School Work with individual students or small groups of students to reinforce learning.- Alert the teacher of any problems or special information about students- Participate in in-service training programs as assigned- Guide independent study enrichment work and remedial work assigned by the teacher- Relate to students within the classroom in a manner consistent with the teachers philosophy in the area of discipline and Instruction- Other duties as may be assigned-Experience working with special needs students preferredThis position is a shared paraprofessional position in which the employee is responsible for the support of two students who are in the same : -Associates Degree or 48 college credits attained or Workkeys Associate degree preferred. -Citizenship residency or work visa required.-Demonstrated aptitude for the work to be performed-Experience working with children who have social emotional and behavioral disabilities is a plusBilingual encouraged to applyDiverse applicants encouraged to applySalary: Per Unit D Contract (salary range:$17.67/hr - $22.96/hr)
