Job Summary
We are hiring a dedicated and student-centered 7 & 8 grade Science Teacher to join our school community for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate is passionate about fostering academic growth nurturing the whole child and creating a structured engaging classroom environment where all students can thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver standards-based instruction in core subject areas
- Create a positive inclusive classroom culture that supports students academic social and emotional development
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Assess student progress regularly and use data to inform instruction
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents/guardians
- Collaborate with colleagues specialists and administration to support student success
- Integrate technology and hands-on learning experiences to enhance instruction
- Uphold school policies procedures and professional expectations
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Elementary Education or related field
- Valid state teaching certification (or ability to obtain)
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to continuous professional growth
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in an elementary classroom setting
- Knowledge of differentiated instruction and best practices in literacy and math
- Ability to build strong relationships with students and families
