About the Role

The Regional Digital Content Strategist is responsible for continuously improving the quality and effectiveness of digital creative content across ShopBacks paid channels. The role focuses on transforming performance data into clear insights actionable recommendations and reusable learnings that enable local marketing teams to create better-performing content month after month.

This role acts as a bridge between creative execution and performance marketing ensuring that content decisions are grounded in data learning cycles are closed and winning creative patterns are identified shared and scaled across markets. This is not a pure strategy or deck-making role youll be deep in the work: scripting shooting editing designing iterating and then scaling what works across markets through playbooks toolkits creator programs and over time building and mentoring a small but high-performing creative pod around you.

Key Responsibilities

    • Creative Performance & Analysis
    • Analyse creative performance across digital channels and markets using platform reporting and analytics.
    • Evaluate content effectiveness at a component level (e.g. hooks message angles formats proof mechanisms CTAs).
    • Run creative A/B tests and use performance data to double down on winners and sunset underperformers.
    • Identify and articulate patterns behind winning and underperforming creative.

    • Insight Generation & Recommendations
    • Translate performance data into clear actionable insights for local marketing teams.
    • Provide structured recommendations on what content to produce more of iterate on or stop producing.
    • Support hypothesis development for upcoming creative testing cycles.

    • Collaboration with Local Markets
    • Partner closely with local marketing teams across 12 markets to discuss insights and guide creative direction.
    • Facilitate regular content and insight discussions that connect performance outcomes with creative decisions.
    • Support local teams in interpreting performance data and applying learnings to creator briefs.

    • Knowledge Sharing & Scaling
    • Maintain and evolve a regional repository of creative learnings and winning concepts.
    • Support cross-market sharing and reuse of effective creative patterns.
    • Ensure learnings are consistently fed back into future creative cycles.

    • Hands-on Content Creation & Production
    • Lead end-to-end content production: ideation scripting shooting (mobile-first) editing designing captioning and publishing and at other times plug into specific parts of the process to move quickly.
    • Use tools such as CapCut Adobe Premiere Final Cut Photoshop Figma Canva or similar to create and edit assets yourself.
    • Test new hooks formats layouts and visual styles to keep creatives fresh platform-native and high performing.
    • Build repeatable frameworks and playbooks for creator and UGC content that markets can adapt and scale.

    • Process & Quality Enablement
    • Act as the regional content & creative owner within OM setting guidelines templates and best practices for markets.
    • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the regional creative operating model.
    • Support evaluation and rollout of creative analysis workflows and tooling where appropriate.
    • Promote consistent tagging naming and documentation standards to enable scalable analysis.

Requirements

    • Required Skills & Experience
    • 5 years of experience in digital marketing performance marketing content strategy or creative analysis.
    • Hands-on content creation experience is a must youve personally created edited and shipped content.
    • Strong working knowledge of major paid advertising platforms.
    • Proven ability to analyse creative performance and extract meaningful insights.
    • Experience working with reporting and analytics workflows.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain insights to diverse stakeholders.
    • Experience working with cross-functional and cross-market teams.
    • Demonstrated use of AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT CapCut AI Veo 3 or similar) to accelerate ideation scripting and content variations -> speed up editing and asset production workflows -> improve productivityt and scale creative testing effectively.

    • Preferred Qualifications
    • Experience working across multiple international markets.
    • Familiarity with structured creative testing and experimentation approaches.
