LMR Technical Group (LMR) is seeking a Program Manager.


Location: Remote


Job Description:

The Program Manager (PM) will manage and direct the daily execution of contract requirements including fulfilling contractual obligations to the Government managing LMR employees and managing LMRs relationships with the Prime and Subcontractors. The PM will assure that cost schedule and performance goals are met. The PM will provide interface communication and coordination with internal and external customers.


Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Manage and direct the daily execution of contract requirements to assure that cost schedules and performance goals are met.
  • Serve as the primary interface with the Prime Contractor on all matters involving contract execution. Coordinate with other departments on resolution of contractual issues with the Prime. Coordinate with Contracts Administration on issues pertaining to contract requirements changes or interpretations.
  • Assure that conduct of contract requirements are executed in accordance with appropriate regulations Company policies and procedures (i.e. federal acquisition regulations).
  • Provide leadership to the program team. Ensure communication and cooperation among team members and resolve areas of conflict.
  • Recruit interview and hire new staff in accordance with fill rates and delivery timelines outlined within the contract.
  • Manage employee performance including conducting disciplinary action and performance reviews in accordance with company policy.
  • Develop and execute program corrective strategies.
  • Lead all meetings with the Prime Contractor and sub-contractors.
  • Provide interface communication and coordination with internal and external customers on matters pertaining to existing contracts and bid and proposal activities.
  • Activity seek new business opportunities in coordination with Business Development / Capture.
  • Assist in the development of the business development pipeline; direct coordinate and conduct bid strategies; develop kick-off slides write proposals conduct market research evaluate current business performance and make recommendations for process improvement.
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of Teaming Agreements Subcontractor Agreements and other agreements related to business development activities.
  • Identify the resources required to pursue a bid establish infrastructures required processes and plans necessary and manages their execution.
  • Plan and prepare presentation and briefing material; communicate company capabilities at events/meetings and oversee the development and/or develop marketing material.
  • Participate as a team member or leader on bid and proposal activities related to the recompetes of incumbent contracts.
  • Participate in industry and sales meetings to provide recommendations and inputs on business
  • Attend trade shows industry associations job fairs to improve companys
  • Represent management at program reviews and meetings.
  • Prepare and participate in contract / subcontract negotiations.
  • Develop and implement plans and schedules to execute contracts / subcontracts.
  • Allocate and control contract budgets for labor material travel and purchased services.
  • Report program status to senior management on a weekly basis.
  • Support communicate reinforce and defend the mission values and culture of the organization.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Demonstrated success as a Program Manager showing a track record of delivering large complex (multi-disciplinary) projects or a program of several projects under budget and on schedule.
  • Strong leadership skills and experience managing project teams across multiple locations.
  • Experience identifying mitigating and managing project risks and issues.
  • Experience assisting in the development of project plans responding to requests for information and developing and presenting briefings on project status to program leadership.
  • Experience in creating applying and maintaining tools to track program project or task performance data including cost schedule and performance data.
  • Experience supporting corporate business development activities including proposals.
  • Experience interfacing with senior Government officials.
  • Strong interpersonal and client facing skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree
  • 10 years of relevant experience as program / project manager for Government contracts. Experience working on U.S. Navy contracts is highly preferred.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future.



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters degree
  • PMP PgMP PPM MPM or CPMP certification
  • Current Active Secret security clearance



Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.



Travel:

  • Occasional travel to CONUS locations.

Expected Salary:$100000 - 150000 annually. Salary will be based on job-related knowledge skills education training certifications and work location.
