GEAESS is our largest site for engine component Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) responsible for more than 60% of our global repair volume.

Role Overview:

  • Customer-centric support and incident leadership

    • Triage and resolve complex SAP issues where key users cannot; assess impact coordinate workarounds and escalate to Global Support/Product when needed.

    • Monitor SLAs uptime and performance; drive MTTR reduction backlog burn-down and systemic fixes.

  • Operations process excellence and lean

    • Align business processes with SAP capabilities via value stream mapping and standard work; reduce waste cycle time and rework.

    • Partner with production cell leaders to improve production order execution/closure materials movements and quality processes.

    • Identify simplification/automation opportunities; increase first-contact resolution and self-service adoption.

  • Change testing and release readiness

    • Define/validate test cases; support UAT and cutover readiness for releases pilots and deployments.

    • Communicate change impacts; ensure shop-floor continuity and adherence to Quality System controls.

  • Training documentation and adoption

    • Build clear training job aids and standard work; conduct recurring training for key users and shop floor.

    • Maintain incident knowledge articles and progress reporting; drive learning from incidents/changes.

  • Collaboration and governance

    • Coordinate with Global Product Owners Solution Architects and master data teams to ensure data integrity standardization and roadmap adoption.

    • Share best practices regionally; support continuous service improvement and audit readiness.

  • Scope and modules

    • Primary: PP MM QM SD; integration with FI/CO; Basis coordination for performance/transports.

    • Shop-floor processes: production orders confirmations goods movements MRP quality notifications/results.

    • Fiori role-based apps embedded analytics CDS-based reporting.

Ideal Candidate

The Ideal candidate will own the stable efficient and compliant use of SAP across production materials engineering and adjacent finance touchpoints. He/she will also serve as the focal for issue resolution and partner globally with SAP Product Solution Architecture and Regional Ops/DT to improve Safety Quality Delivery and Cost (SQDC) and enduser experience.

Required Qualifications

4-6 years in SAP supporting manufacturing/repair operations with strong PP/MM/QM/SD and FI/CO integration.

Practical shop-floor experience and solid operational business process knowledge.

Proven incident/problem management and root-cause analytic skills;

Degree in technical/business field or equivalent operational/aerospace experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to clearly convey requirements and issues to cross-functional teams and suppliers.

  • Solid organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills using data and standard work to drive decisions.
