The Clinical Education Services (CES) Department is a dynamic high-performing departmentcomprisedof Service Line Educators Clinical Nurse Specialists Clinical Mentors Program Coordinators Wound/Ostomy Nurses and Data Analyst. CES supports clinical staff through delivery of education and training aimed at meeting the professional learning needs of nursing teammates. This team evaluates and implements evidence-based practice to improve outcomes delivers education about new policies procedures equipment etc. coordinates a variety of programs such as Nursing Excellence and the Pathway to Excellence designation Geriatrics Sepsis Life Support and Wound Care provides at the elbow support when clinical questions or issues arise supports nurses in achieving advanced degrees and specialty certifications provides facility-based orientation coordinates student groups needing clinical and practicum rotations supports the facility during regulatory surveys and frequently collaborates with many other departments to achieve goals and improve outcomes. Wound/ostomy nurses support the nursing staff and patients through care coordination with providers. The CES Department is an integral part of the facilitysday to dayoperations and performance improvement work.
WereLooking For:
Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
MSN MHA orMastersdegree in the job-related field of work
Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Directexperienceor project management preferred
