The Ratings Operations Support (ROS) team is responsible for enabling effective and efficient global Ratings processes while driving end-to-end process simplification that meets customer needs. The team operates as strategic partners across the organization working closely with Commercial Technology Data Analytical and Compliance teams. The Impact and Responsibilities:
Impact:This role has global impact across the supported practice and the broader data technology and operations community. You will connect transformation initiatives with analytical and end users while ensuring operational efficiency problem-solving and innovation. Your work directly contributes to meeting customer needs through streamlined processes and quality delivery.
Responsibilities:
Complete key steps of the end-to-end ratings process for assignments of all complexity for one practice independently with pace and quality to meet customer needs
Demonstrate strong understanding of ratings processes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while taking ownership of operating manuals or standard work
Lead and support change management efforts including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system improvements and identify continuous improvement opportunities
Guide analysts and business partners through the ratings process while representing the ROS team at business partner meetings
Train and mentor new hires provide guidance to support quality delivery and actively contribute towards team goals
Build relationships and collaborate with key partners across functions to solve business problems and participate in improvement efforts
Compensation/Benefits Information:(This section is only applicable to US candidates): S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this positionis USD 53000 to 65000.Final base salary for this role will be based on the individuals geographic location as well as experience level skill set training licenses and certifications.
What Were Looking For:
Basic Required Qualifications:
An S&P Global employee at this level would typically have 1 years of extensive experience in operations data management or related field
Experience leading projects and working effectively under general guidance while taking initiative
Strong attention to detail with demonstrated ability to identify potential issues and implement process improvements
Excellent communication skills with ability to interpret and clarify technical information to various audiences
Ability to resolve varied and non-routine operational issues using previous experience to improve approaches
Demonstrated ability to actively participate and contribute towards team goals while taking accountability for individual and team targets
All employees are required to work from the office a minimum of 2 days per week
We require all candidates who reach the final stage of our interview process to attend at least one in-person interview which is ordinarily at your nearest S&P Global Ratings office. This must be completed before we can proceed to an offer.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with ratings processes financial services operations or regulatory compliance environments
Background in change management User Acceptance Testing or process improvement methodologies
Exposure to cross-functional collaboration across Commercial Technology Data or Analytical teams
Experience mentoring or training team members in operational processes
