Duties & Responsibilities
Assistant CFO
Job description - including but not limited to:
- Assist the CFO in all Finance and Technical Accounting functions including the finalisation and filing of statutory returns with primary responsibility for Income Tax Provisional Tax and VAT returns.
- Act as a reporting manager to Junior Managers within the Finance and Technical Accounts departments providing guidance review and oversight of their work.
- Prepare review and present financial reports analyses and management information as required
- Excellent working knowledge of MS Excel Word and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
Junior Officer
Job description - including but not limited to:
- VAT Computation.
- Income tax and provisional tax computations.
- Bank reconciliations
- Preparation and review of Cash Flow Statements.
- Verification and validation of journal entries.
- Practical experience in accounts closure and finalisation including period-end and year-end processes.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Assistant CFO
Qualifications: . graduate and qualified chartered accountant - freshers can also be considered.
Junior Officer
Qualifications: BCom Graduate who has completed the SAICA articles training.
Required Skills and Desirable Competencies ( for both the posts)
- Sound knowledge of accounting principlesand financial reporting standards (preferrably IFRS17).
- Hands-on experience with accounting software; working knowledge of an ERP systemis highly desirable.
- Highly adaptive and able to work effectively in changing environments.
- Ability to work quickly and with little to no oversight.
- Appreciates a fast paced team first solutions-oriented culture.
Package & Remuneration
Candidates will be on probation for first three months andperformance will be reviewed after three months and then if deemed fit will beoffered permanent job.
Remuneration will be as per company policy and will commensurate with the candidates qualifications and experience.
