Transaction Services (TS) is one of ING Wholesale Banking core business lines. We offer a suite of WB products and services to wholesale banking clients. We are a significant contributor to the growth and profitability of the WB. Our strategy is aimed at ensuring that we continue to support sustained growth for the WB by delivering competitive and relevant TS products.
We are looking for a Product Manager (PM) in our Working Capital Solutions (WCS) team with a focus on business transformation. As a PM you will be part of the WCS product management team. The PM WCS team is responsible for the commercial performance of the WCS products: Receivables Finance and Supply Chain Finance. The PM role we are currently hiring for will in particular be focused on the WCS Transformation program.
WCS Transformation is the change program focused on selecting testing and implementing the latest technology to set the WCS business up for success in the long term. Our core objectives under WCS Transformation are: (i) better customer service; (ii) scalable operations and technology; (iv) deliver business growth; (v) better data and digitalization; (vi) improved employee experience / workflow tooling.
As a Product Manager WCS
- You report to the Head of PM WCS .
- You focus on WCS Transformation in particular all processes around the selecting testing and implementing the new technology
- This includes designing business requirements and contributing to refining our global Target operating Model (and help creating the relevant processes and procedures)
- Actively work together with colleagues in Front office Delivery and Tech squads
Your key responsibilities
- You will be responsible for contributing to the product strategy design commercial execution and the entire product life cycle
- You will be responsible for contributing to the day-to-day product performance and P&L management
- You will be responsible for creating & tracking business cases
- You will be responsible for contributing to the product roadmap
- You will be responsible for contributing to the product proposition
- You will be responsible for monitoring and updating policies and other relevant governance documents related to your respective (trade) products
- You will contribute to TS sustainable performance and you identify opportunities to better serve and delight our customers in daily collaboration with Sales Client Services and the Sector organization
- You will contribute to NFR Non Financial Risk management (i.e. PARP product review events and issues management audits etc.)
- You work with Risk Compliance and Legal stakeholders to make sure our products and services comply with regulations and policies
We are looking for
- Experience in commercial product management and/or roles related to change programs transformation and digitalization (the actual implementation not the oversight)
- Drive and ability to take ownership and contribute to the (product) strategy implementation
- A colleague with analytical skills who takes decisions based on data and facts
- Strong resilience: your ability to navigate through ambiguity and simplify complexity
- Can-do attitude
- An open and transparent communicator
- An energetic motivating person who can work as part of a team but also independently

Proven track record and technical skills
- Masters or bachelors degree
- A minimum of 7 years of work experience in banking finance and working capital solutions
- Knowledge of the WCS product(s)
- Affinity and experience in implementing new technology and/or working through vendor selection testing and implementation
- Financial acumen Business Analysis & Insight
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
