Per the Collective Bargaining Agreement current bargaining unit employees have priority consideration for this position if they apply within seven (7) days of the posting date. After this period all applicants will be considered equally.
Primary: 7:00am-3:30pm; Secondary: 3:00pm-11:30pm
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the blood bank supervisor performs packaging and transport of blood components to and from area hospitals. Supports the blood donor program by assisting with delivery of promotional material and supplies needed for mobile blood drives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. High School diploma or GED required.
2. Must have a valid New York State drivers license.
3. Must be able to lift 60 lbs. of dead weight and operate equipment provided for handling processing and transport of blood products.
4. Must demonstrate good interpersonal skills with the ability to deal with people in a positive manner.
