Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Environmental Health and Safety Manager to support the implementation and continuous improvement of our safety programs. This role is key in promoting a proactive safety culture ensuring compliance with OSHA and ISO 14001 standards and reducing risks from workplace hazards. Join our fast-growing team and help drive meaningful measurable safety performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and support hydraulic and high-pressure systems ensuring safe operation and compliance with applicable standards
- Conduct ergonomic assessments and improvements utilizing Humantech methodologies and tools
- Manage workers compensation claims including incident investigation documentation and coordination with internal and external stakeholders
- Lead and support ISO 14001 environmental management system audits including preparation execution and recertification efforts
- Identify hazards recommend corrective actions and drive preventative safety initiatives
- Collaborate cross-functionally to promote a strong safety and compliance culture
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in EHS or a related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 10 years of EHS experience ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Experience with workmans compensation
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and ISO 14001
- Experience with inspections training audits and root cause analysis
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk long distances and stand for extended periods across large operational areas
- Ability to climb bend and access elevated or confined spaces for inspections
- Comfortable wearing required PPE and working in a variety of environmental conditions (noise heat etc.)
