Every day Agilent Field Service Engineers help our customers to solve issues that enable scientists to make discoveries that enhance the quality of life. Through their work they deliver insights and provide support that keep laboratories running smoothly and more efficiently.

This is an entry level technical field service role where you support customers directly by working on-site with them. Your main role is to make sure their equipment systems or instruments are installed correctly running smoothly repaired quickly and optimized for performance.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
Respond to customer needs by providing repair installation upgrade and preventive maintenance activities
Contact customers in a timely manner and schedule service efficiently
Connect with manager and sales team to understand and meet customer needs and expectations
Complete administrative paperwork and computer reports promptly and accurately
Address customer requests for service and communicate proactively before during and after service
Maintain Agilents customer service reputation by aligning with all corporate policies and procedures
This position requires regular travel to clients located in the Puglia Basilicata and Calabria regions as well as occasional support for additional customers across Italy when required. A company car will be provided for your convenience.
Qualifications
We are looking for an individual with the following background:
University degree in Chemistry Biochemistry Biotechnology or similar completed within the last two years
Practical experience with GC GCMS gained either through technical support or as an end user of these systems (12 years of experience)
Full proficiency in Italian and good level of English (especially reading & understanding).
A valid driving license.
On a personal level you are proactive outgoing and customer oriented. You enjoy working both autonomously and as part of a team and to solve various types of problems. You have great communications and interpersonal skills to interact with many internal and external partners.

This job has a full time weekly schedule.Our pay ranges are determined by role level and location. Within the range individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors including job-related skills experience and relevant education or training.
