We are seeking a CMT Field Technician to join our Beaumont TX team! The successful hire will have 1-3 years of previous construction materials testing or construction related experience with a minimum of an ACI Field 1 certification required and TXDOT 1A or 1B certification would be a plus. Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Performs construction-related field tests as directed by the Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Manager and Senior Engineer.
Travels to various construction sites primarily throughout the Southeast Texas area with the potential for overnight and/or weekend as needed.
Relays information to project manager and/or engineer with limited in-field decision making.
Transports equipment test specimens and/or documents to field personnel laboratory clients or other offices and provides physical assistance in equipment set-up.
Enters daily field observation reports and summary reports electronically.
Performs field quality control tests of in place concrete.
Performs field density testing on soil concrete asphalt and other construction materials.
Assists other technicians or professional staff on tasks and assists other departments as necessary.
Follows Atlas safety plans programs policies and procedures.

Minimum requirements:

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
1-3 years of previous construction materials testing experience
ACI Certification required
Construction Experience.
TXDOT is a plus.
Willing to learn and work any shift that is needed.
Required to attain ACI Field certification within 90 days of hire
