Under general direction to assist in the planning development and implementation of policies regulations guidelines and procedures pertaining to Districtwide services and programs; to serve as a resource to personnel concerning specialized instructional and administrative programs; to review monitor and coordinate the functions and activities of Districtwide service personnel; and to do other related functions as directed.
DISTINGUISHING CHARACTERISTICS
This position classification requires subject matter expertise commonly taught in public schools and the coordination of Districtwide curriculum and instructional processes. The position classification performs decision analysis processes and makes decisions of considerable consequence requiring the application and interpretation of data facts procedures and policies. The incumbent meets frequently with school administrators teachers other staff and parents to communicate information data and alternative problem solutions.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and coordinate specific district functions around School-Based Decision Making.
- Develop and provide annually required training for all School-Based Decision Making council members across the district.
- Oversee and coordinate specific district functions around annual training requirements.
- Oversee and coordinate specific district functions around the Certified Evaluation Plan.
- Monitor the completion of annual training requirements of each school and department.
- Plan organize and coordinate staff development workshops and other professional growth activities.
- Oversee and coordinate specific district functions around student teachers.
- Oversee and coordinate specific district functions around internal programs such as the Scott County Internship Program and any state-mandated new teacher internship programs such as the defunct Kentucky Teacher Internship Program.
- Oversee and coordinate specific district functions around professional growth and evaluation training such as the Professional Growth and Evaluation System.
- Oversee and coordinate specific district functions around student investigations.
- Oversee and coordinate specific district functions around federal Title IX laws and requirements.
- Serve the district as the Lead Investigator for Title IX investigations.
- Oversee and coordinate specific district functions around expulsions.
- Oversee and coordinate specific district functions around After School Childcare Programs.
- Oversee and coordinate specific district functions around the development modification and distribution of the student code of acceptable behavior.
- Prepare a variety of management and program evaluation reports as .
- Comply with applicable state and federal law as well as local policies and procedures. Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE OF:
- Principles techniques strategies goals and objectives of public education. Legal mandates policies regulations and operational procedures pertaining to districtwide instruction delivery systems.
- Human relations strategies conflict resolution strategies and team building principles and techniques.
- District protocols regarding employee evaluation Title IX student code of acceptable behavior student investigations and expulsion procedures.
ABILITY TO:
- Provide specialized resource support and coordination of creative and innovative employee growth and development programs.
- Analyze and assess program needs and offer recommendations pertaining to program activity revisions additions or deletions.
- Establish and maintain effective organization community and public relationships.
- Communicate effectively in oral and written form.
- Understand and carry out oral and written directions with minimal accountability controls.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Work is performed while standing sitting and/or walking
- Requires the ability to communicate effectively using speech vision and hearing
- Requires the use of hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION

Five years of experience in a responsible position performing student support services school support services and related functions.
Education:
Equivalent to the completion of an earned Baccalaureate or higher degree from anaccredited college or university in educational administration instructional technology or a closely related field.
