As Category Lead you will support the establishment of a new supply base in India for the most strategic component parts that will be supplied into Aggrekos forthcoming manufacturing facility and the Global Procurement Hub.

Role Overview: The role will drive the assessment negotiation onboarding and the strategic management of key suppliers for Aggrekos manufacturing facility and global procurement hub. You will be commercially astute and have experience of strategic sourcing contracting and performance management. The role would work closely alongside both the pre-existing strategic global Directs team and the newly formed Indian Procurement team.

What youll do:

• Identify assess and negotiate with strategic incountry suppliers to build a robust local supply base supporting Indiabased manufacturing and service operations for core product parts.

• Establish negotiate and manage contractual frameworksincluding supply agreements and joint development agreementsto secure quality costeffective and reliable supply.

• Develop implement and communicate category strategies for assigned subcategories ensuring alignment with broader procurement and business objectives.

• Benchmark suppliers regularly to maintain competitiveness and ensure all suppliers undergo Aggrekos formal onboarding and supplier performance management processes.

• Manage ongoing supplier relationships monitor performance and mitigate supply risks by developing alternative sources and maintaining leverage over underperforming suppliers.

• Ensure compliance with customs regulations GST frameworks and import/export documentation requirements including DGFT norms.

• Drive ethical sourcing practices in line with Aggrekos ESG standards and Supplier Code of Conduct.

• Support the continuous development of local suppliers to meet Aggrekos quality cost compliance and performance standards.

Youll have the following skills and experience:

• Over 5 years of experience in procurement strategic sourcing or supply chain management with a proven ability to operate effectively in a dynamic fastpaced environment while maintaining a collaborative and solutionsfocused mindset.

• Strong commercial acumen with deep knowledge of the Indian supply base for electrical and mechanical components enabling effective supplier evaluation negotiation and cost optimisation.

• Global stakeholder management capability with the ability to work seamlessly with teams across Aggrekos international footprint demonstrating cultural awareness adaptability and strong relationshipbuilding skills.

• Clear authentic and inclusive communication style with the ability to navigate a rapidly evolving business landscape while ensuring consistent performance against defined KPIs such as supplier onboarding cost variance and contractual compliance.

• Educational background in Engineering Supply Chain Management or a related discipline; an MBA or postgraduate qualification is preferred.
