Internal Job Title: Programs Coordinator and Facilitator Association Learning

This role is responsible for facilitating courses and other learning activities while also supporting the design development and delivery of high-quality learning programs. Youll coordinate learning activities develop educational resources curate content administer courses through the learning management system and contribute to the evaluation and transfer of learning across the organization.

How Youll Make an Impact
- Provide input and ongoing support for the implementation of AMAs long-term learning strategy.
- Plan prepare for and facilitate learning sessions using adult learning principles across classroom online and blended environments.
- Create engaging learning environments and adapt facilitation approaches to meet individual and group learner needs.
- Assist with research curriculum development and the creation of learning materials and resources.
- Support the transfer and evaluation of learning by reviewing participant feedback and contributing to recommendations for improvement.
- Contribute to the evaluation of learning program effectiveness and identify opportunities for enhancement.
- Coordinate learning events and activities for AMA leaders including scheduling registration and communication.
- Research and recommend learning content and activities incorporating participant input.
- Create learning resources and materials for leadership programs and events.
- Collect and track data for leadership program metrics.
- Negotiate contracts and manage bookings with internal and external vendors.
- Manage pre- and post-event communications including maintaining team sites in the Backyard.
- Track learning expenses accurately process invoices within budget and identify opportunities to improve efficiency.
What You Bring to the Table
- A post-secondary degree or diploma in adult education business or an equivalent discipline; a Bachelor of Education is preferred with equivalencies considered.
- Five years experience working in a business education or learning environment. We value diverse career paths so if your experience doesnt exactly align we welcome you to apply and share how your skills and experience would translate to this role.
- Professional association membership or related certification (e.g. i4PL ATD) is an asset.
- Strong facilitation skills across multiple delivery methods.
- Experience supporting learning evaluation and transfer strategies.
- Strong planning analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently take initiative and manage multiple projects.
- Comfort using learning technologies and adapting to new systems.
- Ability to travel within Alberta on an infrequent basis and occasional flexibility to support learning activities outside regular business hours with advance notice where possible.
