JOB SUMMARY

The Operations Manager is responsible for leading daytoday manufacturing operations at the CVG campus driving execution accountability and continuous improvement across assigned work cells and functional leaders. This role partners closely with the Operations Director Business Unit leadership and support functions to deliver safety quality delivery cost and people objectives in a highmix highvolume manufacturing environment.

This leader sets the operational tone on the floorbalancing urgency with disciplinewhile building strong capable management teams and scalable processes that support growth customer commitments and longterm site stability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership & People Management

  • Recruit develop and retain highperforming Functional Managers and Operations leaders aligned to CVG operational needs.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to define clear capability requirements and selection criteria for management roles.

  • Coach and mentor managers on leadership presence decisionmaking performance management and accountability.

  • Proactively monitor turnover engagement and bench strength; identify risks and implement targeted retention and succession plans.

Employee & Team Development

  • Assess individual and team capability gaps; ensure training plans and standard work are in place and effectively executed.

  • Validate and continuously improve training curricula for operations leadership and frontline management.

  • Build succession pipelines for critical leadership roles to support business continuity and growth.

  • Foster a culture of ownership continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Performance Management & Execution

  • Establish clear measurable goals aligned to site and Business Unit priorities (Safety Quality Delivery Cost Productivity and People).

  • Drive consistent use of operational metrics dashboards and tiered accountability reviews.

  • Provide timely direct feedback and coaching based on performance data and observed behaviors.

  • Ensure performance evaluations are completed accurately fairly and on time.

  • Lead teams through periods of change escalation or operational disruption while maintaining focus and discipline.

Communication & Engagement

  • Ensure consistent transparent communication across operations leadership and frontline teams.

  • Create forums for twoway communication idea sharing and problemsolving.

  • Recognize and reinforce strong performance in a fair and consistent manner.

  • Adapt communication style to effectively engage diverse teams across shifts and functions.

BUSINESS MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Strategy & Alignment

  • Translate site and corporate strategy into executable operational plans.

  • Align workcell execution with customer requirements capacity plans and financial targets.

  • Provide regular updates to the Operations Director and Business Unit leadership on performance risks and improvement initiatives.

Cost & Resource Management

  • Identify and execute costreduction opportunities through process optimization labor efficiency and waste elimination.

  • Monitor cost trends and productivity metrics; ensure corrective actions are implemented when targets are missed.

  • Partner with Finance Engineering and Quality to balance cost quality and delivery outcomes.

Forecasting & Planning

  • Support accurate headcount capacity and production forecasting for the CVG campus.

  • Analyze forecast performance to identify trends risks and improvement opportunities.

Technical & Operational Excellence

  • Drive continuous improvement through datadriven analysis KPI management and structured problemsolving (QRQC RCA Kaizen).

  • Ensure standard work procedures and work instructions are effective current and consistently followed.

  • Champion bestinclass manufacturing practices and share learnings across Jabil sites.

  • Partner with Engineering and Quality to improve process capability yield and customer satisfaction.

  • Ensure full compliance with all Jabil policies including Safety Quality Security and Confidentiality.

  • Promote a strong safety culture and ensure adherence to all health and safety requirements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant manufacturing or operations experience including at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.

  • Experience operating in a complex fastpaced manufacturing environment (EMS preferred).

  • Strong working knowledge of operational metrics labor planning and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Proficiency with enterprise systems and tools (Workday ERP/MES standard Microsoft applications).
