Your New Role and Responsibilities
Leidos delivers critical capability in Chemical Biological Radiological and Nuclear Defence (CBRND). We supply protection technology and training to the Australian Defence Force.
We procure inspect test and ship various protective addition we train both new and existing defence personnel to use the supplied equipment. As technology improves so does our focus on equipment that protects and responds to developing CBRN threats.
Located at our site in Prestons and reporting to the Operations Manager the Warehouse Manager will:
- Lead plan organise and control warehouse operations to meet productivity and efficiency goals.
- Oversee inwards/outwards goods receiving dispatch storage packaging quarantine and compliance requirements.
- Manage stock levels conduct audits and maintain accurate inventory aligned with Leidos and CASG requirements.
- Coordinate and lead warehouse staff including fulltime and surge/temporary resources.
- Maintain WHS/EHS compliance ISO9001 standards and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
What Youll Bring to Make an Impact
- Qualifications in warehouse or supply chain management or equivalent experience.
- Experience in warehouse management or supervision within complex environments.
- Strong planning coordination reporting analytical and IT skills (ERP MS Office; PowerBI desirable).
- Knowledge of Defence logistics regulatory compliance and hazardous material handling processes.
- Ability to gain and maintain Baseline security clearance.
