Position Summary

The role of Associate Director Product Marketing will lead promotional messaging and tactical development across channels for our Treatment Selection portfolio including Guardant360 Liquid Guardant360 CDx and Guardant360 Tissue.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead all Guardant360 Liquid Guardant360 CDx and Guardant360 Tissue brand strategy and execution including evolution of the brand creative and product messaging
  • Pull through core creative and messaging across all promotional channels including the IVA website brochures and digital placements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners including product medical affairs training sales and technology to ensure alignment of our product / brand strategy
  • Partner closely with the market insights and analytics team to define the key business questions and find the answers appropriately through market research or data analysis
  • Measure success and impact across promotional channels and optimize accordingly through the annual brand planning process
  • Lead and provide clear direction to agency partners and vendors; provide feedback and coaching as needed
  • Manage within budget

Required Qualifications:

  • Must have Bachelors Degree MBA or Masters preferred
  • Must have at least 8 years of healthcare marketing experience
  • Must have experience developing and executing a media plan
  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Travel expectations: 25%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A successful candidate would have experience managing teams
  • A successful candidate would have field sales experience


Hybrid Work Model: This section is applicable to onsite employees who are eligible for hybrid work location as specified by management and related policies. Guardant has defined days for in-person/onsite collaboration and work-from-home days for individual-focused time. All U.S. employees who live within 50 miles of a Guardant facility will be required to be onsite on Mondays Tuesdays and Thursdays. We have found aligning our scheduled in-office days allows our teams to do the best work and creates the focused thinking time our innovative work requires. At Guardant our work model has created flexibility for better work-life balance while keeping teams connected to advance our science for our patients.

The annualized base salary ranges for the primary location and any additional locations are listed below. This range does not include benefits or if applicable bonus commission or equity. Each candidates compensation offer will be based on multiple factors including but not limited to geography experience education job-related skills job duties and business need. Primary Location: Palo Alto CA Primary Location Base Pay Range: $194100 - $266900 Other US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $164985 - $226865 If the role is performed in Colorado the pay range for this job is: $174690 - $240210
