Description of the Position:
The Manager Segment Marketing is responsible for two core areas of focus: lead generation and event management both of which engage distinct audience segments and support sustainable revenue growth across SickKids Foundation.
In the lead generation component of the role the Manager plans builds and executes lead generation campaigns to identify potential donor prospects. This includes managing key touchpoints across the donor journey and developing content and tactics that inspire and educate prospective donors while driving interest in legacy giving (planned gifts).
In parallel the Manager leads the end-to-end planning and delivery of a major fundraising radiothon event in support of the Chinese Canadian community. This includes managing event timelines coordinating with internal partners vendors and media partners and supporting culturally relevant content to ensure strong fundraising and engagement results.
As part of a fast-paced collaborative team this role offers the opportunity to make a direct and meaningful impact during an exciting period of growth for SickKids Foundation.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Drive development and execution of multi-channel performance marketing campaigns including digital social direct mail email telemarketing and other forms of traditional media that drive fundraising results
- Develop clear compelling briefs that inspire effective creative and media execution
- Own the planning and delivery of campaigns that engage donor audiences and move them through the donor journey from initial interest to active consideration
- Design test and optimize campaign strategies to drive continuous learning and improved program performance
- Oversee project management for lead generation campaigns (eg. legacy marketing) and our Chinese community radiothon event ensuring all tactics launch on schedule and to a high standard of quality
- Manage campaign budgets including invoice tracking and expense management
- Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors to successfully deliver programs to market
- Build and maintain strong day-to-day relationships with internal partners to achieve business objectives
- Manage data and knowledge transfer between the Foundation and our partners including Jira requests list transfers data formats files and post-campaign analyses in accordance with business rules
- Track analyze and report on campaign performance identifying trends and recommending opportunities for improvement
- Remain current on all aspects of emerging marketing trends including AI integrations and other areas affecting the marketing teams business
- Provide mentorship and day-to-day guidance to team member(s) to assist with skill development and strong campaign execution excellence. This role does not include formal people management accountability.
Qualifications:

- 5 years experience managing complex marketing campaigns and projects including coordinating multiple stakeholders under tight timelines
- Post-secondary degree or certificate in marketing fundraising or a related field
- Proven experience developing and executing integrated multi-channel campaigns (digital email social direct mail telemarketing)
- Strong analytical skills including proficiency in Microsoft Excel for reporting and performance analysis
- Experience with AI tools segmentation database management and automation tools
- Experience with revenue accountability and campaign budget management
- Demonstrated experience managing external vendors and agency partners and building strong working relationships
- Superior written and verbal communication skills including well-developed presentation abilities
- Exceptional organization skills attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
- Collaborative team player with the ability to take initiative and work effectively across Foundation teams
- Self-motivated proactive and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in reading and writing Traditional Chinese (Cantonese) is an asset

Expected Hiring Salary Range: $82064 $102582; with the ability to progress to a maximum of $117971. To ensure fair and equitable pay at SickKids Foundation placement on the salary range will be based on your years of experience skills and qualifications relevant to the Manager Segment Marketing.
