Job Summary

As the Procurement Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the strategic sourcing negotiation and purchasing of goods and services required by the organization. This role manages supplier relationships drives cost optimization initiatives ensures contract compliance and collaborates closely with internal stakeholders to support organizational goals. You will play a key role in procurement strategy development risk management and continuous improvement of procurement processes.

What youre responsible for:

  • Drive strategic sourcing and supplier management by leading RFP/RFI/RFQ processes evaluating suppliers and optimizing procurement strategies aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Build and manage strong supplier relationships by monitoring performance ensuring quality and cost efficiency and implementing corrective actions to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead purchasing and contract management by negotiating terms pricing service levels and agreements to secure favorable contracts.
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement lifecycle while ensuring contract compliance policy adherence and effective vendor contract tracking and renewals.
  • Assess and mitigate supply chain risks including supplier capacity contractual issues and market volatility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance Operations IT HR Legal etc.) to understand business needs.
  • Optimize procurement workflows to enhance efficiency accuracy and visibility.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects targeting automation data accuracy or cost optimization.

Qualifications :

To join our team:

  • You have a bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Business Administration or a related field.
  • You have 5 years of experience in procurement sourcing or supply chain.
  • You have strong negotiation contract management and supplier relationship management skills.
  • You have experience with procurement systems.
  • You have a proven ability to manage budgets and achieve cost-saving targets.
  • You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • You have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
  • You have professional certifications such as CPSM CPIM PMP or SCMP an asset.
  • You are knowledgeable in global sourcing sustainable procurement and risk-mitigation strategies an asset.
