Job Summary
A well-established organisation based in Cape Town is seeking an experienced Cost Accountant to join their finance team. This role is ideal for a commercially minded finance professional with strong costing exposure particularly within Activity-Based Costing (ABC) and Bills of Material (BOM) environments.
The successful candidate will play a key role in analysing cost structures supporting operational decision-making and driving cost efficiency across the business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform detailed cost analysis using ABC methodologies
- Maintain and analyse BOM and standard costing structures
- Support budgeting forecasting and variance analysis
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiency improvements
- Collaborate closely with operations and production teams
Skills and Experience:
- Qualification: BCom
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years costing experience
- Proven exposure to ABC and BOM environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently
