Job Summary

Introduction

Our client a manufacturing entity based in Johannesburg is seeking an experiencedCost & Management Accountant to lead the full financial function with a strong focus on cost and management accounting. This is a hands-on role reporting directly to the Managing Director and requires a candidate who can deliver accurate product costing maintain robust financial controls and provide meaningful financial insights to support operational and production decision-making.

Requirements / Experience required:

BCom / Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Cost & Management Accounting or a related field
Professional qualification such as CIMA (Chartered Institute of Management Accountants) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) completed or in progress
Honours degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Management Accounting (advantageous)
Completed articles or relevant practical training in a finance or management accounting environment (advantageous)
Strong grounding in cost accounting budgeting forecasting and financial analysis
