Our Conservation Programs Heritage and Regulation team is currently seeking to appoint a Manager Policy & Briefings to lead the coordination and delivery of highquality policy advice ministerial and executive briefing material parliamentary notes and critical documentation that shapes decisionmaking across DCCEEW. Youll work closely with senior executives internal experts and key external stakeholders on complex and highprofile issues spanning environment heritage climate and conservation priorities.
As a trusted advisor youll guide a small collaborative team drive continuous improvement in briefing and governance processes and help ensure the organisation responds strategically accurately and on time in a highscrutiny environment. If you thrive on influence critical thinking and delivering outcomes that support a sustainable NSW this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
About You
You have strong experience working within government or complex organisations with a solid understanding of policy processes executive support requirements and the preparation of highquality briefing material. You can interpret complex information develop clear and accurate advice and manage competing priorities in a fastpaced environment. Your background includes coordinating responses across multiple stakeholders and applying sound judgement when dealing with sensitive or highprofile matters.
You work collaboratively and communicate effectively with executives colleagues and external stakeholders. Youre comfortable leading a small team supporting others development and maintaining consistent standards of quality and accuracy. You are organised adaptable and proactive with the ability to navigate ambiguity manage workflow pressures and contribute to continuous improvement in briefing and governance processes.
Essential Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications and/or extensive experience in relevant field.
