Job Summary
This nine-week summer internship is ideal for high school students who have completed their sophomore year or juniors and seniors who are seeking to be a part of a very diverse ministry that works with people from countries all over the world.For the Nations Refugee Outreach is a Christian non-profit located in the Dallas area which provides educational and family services while sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ to refugees who have been resettled in the United States. Interns are involved in assisting us with our summer reading program for school-aged children while also working within a ministry context that allows them to grow socially spiritually and theologically.
DUTIES MAY INCLUDE
- Reading with kids
- Leading and playing group games
- Preparing snacks/lunches
- Helping with Bible lessons and Gospel-sharing
- Managing visiting volunteer teams
- Assisting with ESL classes
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be supportive ofFTNROsmission and vision
- Must be willing to commit to 9 weeks
- Must commit to the internship on a full-time basis
- Must have personal transportation
