JOB DESCRIPTION
The person in this position will perform data entry accounting reconciling secretarial and clerical duties associated with the ASB Fund and District receipting systems.
To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must present transcripts of highest level of education within thirty (30) days of hire if applicable.
- Passing basic skills test based on the requirements of the position.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- LANGUAGE SKILLS:Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or governmental to write reports business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of school district staff and the public.
- MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions percentages area circumference and to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
- REASONING ABILITY: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. The ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.
- Demonstrated proficiency learning new software programs office methods bookkeeping filing record keeping telephone etiquette and data management.
- Operating office machines includingcomputers calculators and copy machines; using computer applications such as:Windows Word and Excel Microsoft Office etc.
- Demonstrated ability to positively and effectively communicate with team members school district staff and public; to establish and maintain positive relationships with others as part of a team.
- Must uphold board policies and follow administrative procedures.
- Must take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students equipment materials and facilities.
- Must attend in-service trainings or other meetings as required as well as attend any training as directed by management.
- Evidence of ability to assess and correct issues involving safety.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Accounts Payable bi-weekly invoice entry and monthly procurement card data-processing for ASB fund.
- Records management for ASB Fundraiser/reconciliation both online and hard copy format.
- ASB fund journal entries budget transfers and expenditures.
- Maintain monthly ASB fund reports and annual records retention.
- Verify balance and post school district deposit receipting and revenue transactions on a monthly basis.
- Data-processing and balancing of transportation tickets and substitute billing.
- Money-handling and entering of requested revenue refunds.
- Scheduling of Quarterly ASB meetings and annual school year ASB Trainings.
- Proper positive and professional Team communication with staff members and students.
- All other duties as assigned.
