About the role

We are looking for a Laundry Assistant to join our friendly team working on Saturdays and Sundays to support the smooth running of our care home. This is a perfect opportunity for someone who enjoys maintaining high standards supporting residents dignity and contributing to a caring environment.

As our Weekend Laundry Assistant you will:

Wash dry iron and fold residents clothing and home linen
Ensure laundry is correctly labelled and returned to residents
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation in the laundry area
Work closely with care staff to meet residents needs
Follow infection control health & safety and COSHH procedures

Who We Are Looking For Someone Who is:

Reliable organised and able to work independently

Caring and respectful with residents dignity in mind

Willing to follow health & safety infection control and COSHH procedures

Previous laundry or care home experience is desirable but not essential
