Nights: 4 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)

Contract Length: 13 weeks
Orientation: 16 hours (Non-billable)
Role Overview
We are seeking a Medical-Surgical LPN to join a complex acute care unit. This role requires the ability to independently manage patient assignments with RN support while delivering high-quality patient-centered care in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Scheduling & Documentation
Charting System: EPIC (experience required)
Holiday Requirement: Must be available to work every other holiday if needed
Call-Off Policy: Up to three shifts may be canceled by the facility during a 13-week contract without charge
Scheduling Requests: RTO block and special scheduling requests must be submitted at time of submission
First-Time Travelers: Accepted
Local Candidates: Accepted
Licensure & Certifications
License: Active New York State LPN license required (non-compact)
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Required Clinical Experience
Recent acute care experience within the past 2 years
Ability to manage own patient assignment with RN oversight
Experience with:
Blood product administration
Central and peripheral line care
PICC line management
IV initiation and maintenance
Phlebotomy
Oxygen delivery systems (HFNC nasal cannula oxygen tanks)
Tracheostomy care
Feeding tube care
Heparin protocols
Pacemakers (temporary and permanent)
Telemetry monitoring (on-unit)
Rapid Response and Code Team protocols
Isolation precautions
Wound care and wound vacs
Medical-Surgical Telemetry Orthopedic trauma Total Joint Replacements
Surgical drains
