Absolute Elder Care is looking for a dedicated Remote RN Appeals Nurse Consultant to join our team in Ocala. This part-time on-site position provides an excellent opportunity for entry-level nurses who are passionate about improving patient outcomes and navigating the complexities of healthcare appeals.
As a Remote RN Appeals Nurse Consultant you will play a crucial role in reviewing and managing appeals for our patients ensuring that they receive the care they need. You will collaborate closely with healthcare professionals and administrative staff to streamline processes and enhance the overall quality of care. We offer a competitive salary range of $95000 - $115000 annually along with a supportive environment that encourages professional development and career advancement.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze appeals for accuracy and compliance
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to gather necessary documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding appeal statuses
- Assist in developing policies and procedures for the appeals process
- Stay updated on healthcare regulations and appeal guidelines
- Provide education and training to staff on appeal processes
- Document and track all appeals and outcomes
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida
- Entry-level experience in nursing or healthcare is preferred
- Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and patient advocacy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and healthcare software
- A passion for patient care and improving healthcare outcomes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
