Job Summary

Lighthouse Technology Services is partnering with our client to fill their Internal Communications Specialist position! This is a 10 month contract opportunity and will be onsite in Buffalo NY. This role will be a W2 employee of Lighthouse Technology Services.

What Youll Be Doing:

Serve as a lead content creator for internal messaging within a banking environment developing clear and engaging communications for emails meetings and marketing materials related to IT projects.
Create polished professional PowerPoint presentations that include data visualizations graphics and concise visually compelling messaging tailored for internal audiences.
Collaborate with business line management to plan and deliver internal communication strategies supporting change management employee engagement and strategic initiatives.
Manage and update the divisional intranet site including content planning design and publishing.
Evaluate new communication channels and tools for potential implementation to improve internal communication effectiveness.
May serve as a team lead coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders across business and technology teams.

What Youll Need to Have:

3 years of experience as a communications specialist or similar.
Highly skilled in communication both written and verbal translating technical terms into user-friendly messaging.
Must have strong PowerPoint skills in creating professional clear concise content using graphs images and other creative means to communicate data.
Expertise in internal messaging content creation.
Autonomous self-driven project member who collaborates well.
Prior experience in a similar communications specialist or content development role is strongly preferred.

Pay Range:$35-$45/hr
