DESCRIPTION:
Lead a collaborative sales team and drive revenue growth for Thermo Fisher Scientifics analytical instruments and solutions. As Manager Instrument Sales youll develop and execute strategic sales plans while building strong customer relationships. This role combines leadership with technical expertise to deliver results in our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier cleaner and safer.
Guide territory performance forecast accuracy and team development while collaborating across functions to optimize the customer experience. Youll implement effective sales processes coach and support team members and ensure achievement of quarterly and annual targets. Through strategic account planning and market analysis youll identify growth opportunities and develop innovative approaches to expand market share.
Work closely with cross-functional partners including Field Service Applications Support Marketing and other divisions to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet customer needs. REQUIREMENTS:
Masters Degree plus 8 years of experience in sales experience in analytical instruments laboratory equipment or related technical products
Preferred Fields of Study: Chemistry Biochemistry Engineering or related scientific field
Advanced technical/scientific certifications relevant to analytical instrumentation a plus
3 years people management experience leading sales teams
Deep knowledge of chromatography mass spectrometry or related analytical technologies
Strong understanding of key markets including pharma food safety environmental testing and life sciences
Demonstrated record of consistently meeting/exceeding sales targets
Experience with CRM systems and sales operations processes
Excellence in strategic planning forecasting and pipeline management
Strong leadership coaching and team development capabilities
Strong business acumen and financial management skills
Strong communication presentation and negotiation abilities
Proficiency in English required
Ability to travel up to 50-80% including overnight stays
Experience managing both direct sales teams and distribution partners preferred
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a matrix organization
Strong project management and organizational skills
