The Opportunity

Join UPA and make a real difference by helping older people live independently in their own homes while staying connected to their community. We provide person-centred care that promotes wellness choice and quality of life. As a not-for-profit organisation we are committed to safe effective care and enriching the communities we serve.

We currently have multiple opportunities to join our Sydney Home Care Region team based in Hornsby.

Your Responsibilities:

Deliver individualised care using a person-centred approach as per client care plans
Assist with personal care medications transport and respite services
Provide everyday living support such as domestic assistance gardening shopping and meal preparation
Complete accurate and timely reporting of client services
Identify and report client risks via our incident management system

What Youll Need:

Certificate III in Individual Support Aged Care or Community Services (highly desirable)
Current Australian Drivers Licence and willingness to travel
Registered and insured vehicle
Compassion empathy and a passion for helping others
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Confidence in using technology
