Key Responsibilities
- Build and mentor a high-performing team of electrical engineers and technicians.
- Encourage an environment of ownership partnership and constant development.
- Implement structured training programs and provide technical mentorship to improve team capabilities.
- Coordinate the full lifecycle of electrical systems across High Voltage (HV) Medium Voltage (MV) and Low Voltage (LV) networks.
- Manage commissioning maintenance and optimization of systems from 161kV down to LV including emergency generators Dynamic UPS and advanced power quality equipment.
- Ensure robust power quality and coordinated monitoring systems.
- Promote innovation by means of SMART power systems predictive maintenance and digital tools.
- Complete capacity planning performance analysis and infrastructure expansion projects to support site growth and resilience.
- Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 IATF 16949 and other relevant standards.
- Champion TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) principles to improve equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Conduct risk assessments and FMEA to eliminate single points of failure and improve system reliability.
- Lead quality improvement initiatives aligned with corporate standards and customer requirements.
- Drive root cause investigations using 8D methodologies and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Promote operational rigor and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Validate scope schedule and cost estimates for infrastructure upgrades.
- Provide engineering oversight during build and construction phases.
- Manage capital and operational budgets effectively.
- Lead energy efficiency programs reliability improvement strategies and system capacity expansion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align electrical infrastructure projects with broader site objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience in Electrical Engineering (required); Masters Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 810 years of electrical engineering experience with at least 35 years in a managerial role.
- Semiconductor or advanced manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
- Proficient in high-voltage/medium-voltage/low-voltage systems emergency generators UPS systems and supply relationships with Taiwan Power Company.
- Familiarity with SMART systems predictive maintenance tools and TPM methodologies will be highly valued.
- Proven ability to build mentor and lead high-performance teams.
- Strong interpersonal and project management skills; proficient in English with the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly and influence collaborators.
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing processes and facilities systems.
- Demonstrated success in cost control operational efficiency improvements and supplier management.
- Experience in ISO/IATF compliance and quality management systems.
