Job Description
As a member of the ambulatory pharmacotherapy team you will be treating tobacco use through virtual and in-person patient visits. You will be working with a team consisting of social work psychology and pharmacy to help patients reach their goals of becoming tobacco free.
Purpose: The Clinical Specialists provides distributive and clinical pharmacy services to the inpatients and outpatients of the Medical University Hospitals and clinics.
Requirements: KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES (Include physical and mental demands of the position-attach demands checklist if necessary:
The position of Clinical Pharmacy Specialist requires a doctoral degree in Pharmacy from an ACPE Accredited School of Pharmacy.
PGY2 in Ambulatory Care OR equivalent experience required.
LICENSES CERTIFICATIONS (If applicable to position):
SC Pharmacist License (or eligible for SC Pharmacist License)
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification: Must be BLS Certified within three months of hire date and maintain certification throughout employment.

Minimum Training and Education: Doctor of Pharmacy or a Bachelors degree in pharmacy. Completion of a pharmacy residency Licensure Certifications Registrations: Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy.
