About the Role
Our Clinet is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Project Lead to support the Primary Care Information Exchange (PCIE) initiative. PCIE is a multi-year province-wide healthcare transformation program designed to establish a provincial repository for EMR data from primary care settings addressing a critical data gap where approximately 70 percent of healthcare interactions occur.

The program will be delivered in phases This role will lead work packages manage integrated delivery plans and ensure successful execution across Ontario Health the Ministry of Health delivery partners and clinical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end project delivery from requirements through design implementation and operational transition
Translate complex concepts into executable project plans and manage delivery against scope schedule and budget
Integrate and manage multiple interdependent work plans across a large diverse healthcare delivery program
Manage resources scope schedule budget and quality for assigned projects and work packages
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with sponsors clinical partners vendors and internal teams
Develop and maintain project documentation including charters integrated plans schedules status reports and meeting materials
Organize and lead project governance working sessions and stakeholder meetings
Manage project change control including IT Requests for Change (RFCs) deployments and Project Change Requests (PCRs)
Track financials provide forecasting and budget variance reporting and monitor actuals against approved funding
Deliver clear accurate and timely status reporting to executives sponsors PMO and stakeholders
Proactively identify manage and escalate risks issues and dependencies
Support release management and transition to operations including warranty support
Mentor and coach junior Project Managers and Project Coordinators
Adhere to and promote Ontario Health policies related to privacy security records management and technical standards

Required Experience

8 10 years of project and program management experience delivering large-scale complex IT initiatives
Proven experience in highly integrated healthcare or public-sector environments
Demonstrated ability to manage multi-disciplinary delivery teams including internal staff consultants and vendors
Strong experience with Waterfall and Agile delivery methodologies
Solid understanding of project management fundamentals including scope risk quality governance and planning
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including executive-level reporting and facilitation
Strong stakeholder engagement collaboration and conflict resolution skills
Ability to manage tight deadlines competing priorities and high-visibility initiatives

Desired Assets

Experience working within Ontario healthcare or similar public-sector health organizations
Knowledge of clinical workflows and healthcare business processes
Familiarity with HL7 and FHIR integration standards healthcare privacy and security principles
Experience with Jira Confluence Microsoft Project SharePoint Excel PowerPoint Teams
Agile certifications such as SAFe PMI-ACP or Scrum
Program or portfolio management experience
IT infrastructure and ITIL exposure
