Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab / Angio Holding Registered Nurse to support a pre- and post-procedural Angio Holding unit. This role involves caring for patients undergoing cardiac vascular and interventional radiology procedures ensuring safe and high-quality care before and after interventions.

Unit Details

Unit: Angio Holding (Pre- and Post-Procedure)
Cases: Cardiac Vascular Interventional Radiology
Bays: 7
Staffing: Typically 3 RNs per shift (occasionally 4)
EMR: EPIC

Schedule

Shift: Day shift
Hours:
Frequency: 3 days per week

Responsibilities

Provide pre- and post-procedural nursing care for angiography and interventional patients
Demonstrate working knowledge of diagnostic and interventional cardiology and radiology procedures
Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe patient outcomes
Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse license (state-appropriate)
Minimum 2 years of experience in a pre-/post-procedural cath lab or similar setting
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Ability to work day shifts weekends and holidays as needed
Strong clinical judgment and patient assessment skills

Orientation & Additional Notes

Department-specific training and orientation provided
Candidate must be available to complete pre-employment health requirements prior to assignment start
