Job Summary:
The Client Technologies Specialist 2 is responsible for creating and maintaining documentation for audio/visual (A/V) conferencing systems. This includes inventory site surveys installation troubleshooting guides and self-service instructions. The role also involves creating a service catalog updating service offerings and supporting the replacement/refresh of existing systems. Travel is required and the specialist will use state vehicles for travel outside of Augusta and personal vehicles within Augusta (with mileage reimbursement).

Responsibilities:
- Create a complete inventory of all A/V conferencing systems.
- Develop documentation for each type/category of A/V conferencing system including site survey assessment product selection purchasing installation deployment and decommissioning.
- Create technician-centric documentation for support and troubleshooting.
- Develop self-service instructions for use and basic troubleshooting.
- Manage replacement/refresh of existing systems.
- Create a process for periodic quote/price updates.
- Work with management to create a service catalog for A/V Conferencing.
- Update A/V service offerings.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Technical writing and documentation experience
- Experience with Microsoft products such as MS Teams and Excel
- Organization skills
- Time management and scheduling skills
- Clean driving record
- Customer service skills
- High School Diploma
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with Lenovo ThinkSmart products and/or Logitech systems
- Experience with audio/visual conferencing systems
- Knowledge of Lenovo ThinkSmart products and management portal
- Knowledge of Logitech Rally ecosystem and Sync management portal
- Knowledge of Microsoft Teams Rooms management infrastructure
- Knowledge of Zoom Meetings management infrastructure
Special Considerations:
- Must reside within an hour radius of Augusta ME.
- Must upload a current screenshot picture onto the interview request page in dotStaff as a PDF file.
- Vendors MUST be present at the beginning of the interview to validate their candidate.
- eVerify must be completed & uploaded no later than the contractors third day of contract.
- State of Maine required credentials must be met and uploaded to contractors dotStaff profile prior to reporting for their first day.
Scheduling:
- Monday through Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm or 8:00am to 5:00pm.
