What You Will Do
- Lead end-to-end execution of complex mechanical and electro-mechanical R&D programs from concept through commercialization.
- Own and manage integrated project plans covering scope schedule cost quality risks and dependencies.
- Drive disciplined execution using phase-gate / PDP frameworks while ensuring Design Control compliance.
- Partner with cross-functional teams (Engineering Quality Regulatory Manufacturing Supply Chain Clinical Marketing) across global sites.
- Proactively identify assess and mitigate technical regulatory supply chain and schedule risks.
- Develop and manage project budgets resource plans procurement strategies and supplier engagements.
- Lead governance activities including design reviews phase-gate reviews executive updates and escalation forums.
- Act as the primary communication and alignment hub influencing stakeholders without direct authority and keeping the customer/patient at the center.
What You Need
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience managing technical or R&D projects.
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
- Strong foundation in project management fundamentals (scope schedule cost risk quality).
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with technical teams and senior stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification or equivalent formal project management credential.
- Experience in medical device regulated product development or highly regulated industries.
- Working knowledge of FDA ISO 13485 and Design Control / DHF requirements.
- Strong background in mechanical or electro-mechanical product development programs.
- Proven ability to influence without authority manage ambiguity and drive results under pressure.
