Responsibilities

As the Head of Trading and Analytics your primary responsibilities will include:

• Develop and implement innovative trading strategies to optimise portfolio performance.
• Leverage advanced trading analytics data insights and AI/ML tools to enhance decision-making processes.
• Oversee complex portfolio management ensuring effective risk management and profitability.
• Foster a collaborative and high-performing team culture driving continuous improvement and innovation.

Qualifications

To excel in this role you will need:

• Proven expertise in trading-specific energy analytics with strong skills in data analytics and/or AI/ML applications in the energy sector.
• Demonstrable experience in trading strategy development and complex portfolio management with a track record of making impactful trading decisions.
• A background in trading leadership ideally within renewable energy portfolios though experience with gas portfolios will also be considered.
