Job Overview

We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist to deliver Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP) provision within mainstream school settings across North London. This role is well suited to a Band 6 or Band 7 therapist with prior mainstream experience who is confident working independently and able to hit the ground running.

You will be supporting children with a range of Speech Language and Communication Needs (SLCN) working closely with school staff families and other professionals to ensure effective child-centred interventions are delivered in line with EHCP outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will:
Deliver EHCP-specified Speech and Language Therapy provision to children in mainstream school settings.
Assess plan and implement individualised therapy programmes tailored to each childs needs.
Work collaboratively with teachers SENCOs parents/carers and wider professionals to support pupils communication development.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in line with professional and organisational standards.
Manage a varied caseload effectively prioritising workload and meeting agreed deadlines.

Qualifications and Experience

To be considered for this role you must have:
A recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy (or equivalent).
HCPC registration and eligibility for membership of the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT).
Experience working with children in mainstream school settings.
A strong understanding of EHCP processes and outcomes-focused provision.
Excellent communication organisational and time-management skills.
The ability to work autonomously and adapt quickly to new environments.
