The role

The Senior Workforce Insights Analyst focuses on transforming complex workforce and organisational data into meaningful insights that guide people strategy capability planning and executive decisionmaking. Unlike operational reporting roles this position focuses on strategic analysis workforce futures scenario modelling and longterm strategic insight. The role involves interpreting patterns risks and opportunities across workforce dynamics and shaping these into clear narratives scenarios and strategic advice that support organisational transformation and longterm workforce sustainability.

A key part of the role is developing forwardlooking insights scenarios and strategic narratives that connect workforce data with organisational priorities economic conditions and policy contexts. You will analyse internal workforce patterns alongside external labour market trends to identify emerging risks capability needs and future workforce opportunities.

Success in the role requires synthesising diverse data sources balancing competing stakeholder priorities and staying current with evolving analytics technologies and workforce trends. Applicants will draw on qualitative and quantitative analysis to identify systemic challenges interpret labour market signals and influence strategic workforce planning while collaborating across teams to ensure insights are aligned credible and impactful.

You will partner closely with executives and senior HR leaders to shape workforce questions influence strategic priorities and present evidencebased advice that supports longterm workforce sustainability.

What you will bring to the role

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written to effectively convey ideas and collaborate with team members.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities to navigate complex challenges and adapt to evolving situations.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate and present solutions ideas and recommendations.
  • Advanced analytical capability to interpret complex workforce data and translate insights into clear strategic advice.
  • Skilled in synthesising qualitative and quantitative information to identify emerging workforce risks trends and opportunities.
  • Confident in engaging senior leaders shaping strategic conversations and influencing decision-making through evidence-based insights.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic narratives insights papers and foresight products that support executive decisionmaking and organisational transformation.

Key knowledge and experience

  • Demonstrated experience in workforce analytics people insights or strategic data storytelling.
  • Expertisein applying data visualisation and analysis tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of HR data structures and metrics combined with the ability to interpret data within broader business and policy contexts.
