Join the Testing & Proctoring Center as a part-time Testing & Proctoring Center Assistant where youll help ensure a smooth secure and welcoming testing experience for this role youll support placement exams Multiple Measures evaluation and community and course exams while handling testing data with care accuracy and confidentiality.

Youll work closely with faculty and campus partners to coordinate exams apply testing policies and keep daily operations running efficiently. This position also includes providing minimal oversight to student employees and supporting specialized testing needs including evening testing and Nursing Admission exam cycles.

This is a permanent part-time in-person position classified as a Program Assistant under the State of Washington Class Specification working 75 hours per month (approximately 18 hours per week) with a 6-month probationary period. This is an in-person part-time position requiring flexible scheduling based on testing and placement needs. Typical scheduling will be 8 AM - 12 PM Tuesday - Friday. This position reports to the Program Manager.

Examples of Duties & Responsibilities

  • Process enter and maintain placement exam and testing data with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Assist with placement exam administration and Multiple Measures evaluation
  • Support community and course exams as needed
  • Provide LCC Proctoring services for approximately 30 instructors including exam coordination administration and documentation
  • Ensure accurate record-keeping and efficient Testing & Proctoring Center operations
  • Provide minimal oversight and guidance to student employees during assigned shifts
  • Independently interpret and apply testing vendor policies and procedures to ensure compliance
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal campus partners including Advising One-Stop and Faculty
  • Represent the Testing & Proctoring Center at LCC events meetings and campus activities as needed
  • Support specialized testing operations including lab reservations evening testing and LCC Nursing Admission exam cycles
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support Testing & Proctoring Center functions

Typical Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proficiency in Google Suites (Docs Sheets and Drive).
  • Familiarity with data management practices.
  • Ability to work with and serve diverse populations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with placement testing procedures or academic support services.
  • Experience working in the Washington State Community and Technical College system.
  • Proctor certifications for PearsonVUE CLEP MEAZURE Prometric and other professional testing vendors.
  • Experience with LCC software systems including ctcLink (PeopleSoft) and EAB Navigate
