Sr. Workplace EHS Operations Program Manager AMER & EMEA
San Diego or San Mateo CA / Hybrid
As the Senior Workplace EHS Operations Program Manager AMER & EMEA you will be responsible for the implementation of Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) standards across SIEs footprint. This role reports to the Senior Manager Workplace Center of Excellence AMER & EMEA and will collaborate closely with the SIE ESG team Workplace Facilities teams and vendors as well as other partner and stakeholder teams.
Responsibilities:
- Implement a central Workplace EHS operations program for SIE facilities that operationalizes ESG goals into actionable Workplace programs and initiatives. Work towards implementing SIEs standardized approachesinaccordance withSony and SIE rules and proceduresdeterminedby SIEs EHS officer and team within the ESG functionto operationalize andmonitoragainstsafety or environmental risks. Serve as the Workplace point of contact for the ESG team coordinatingvalidating andconsolidatingEHS data collected by sites aligned with Sony Green Management plans.
- Organize update andwhere neededcreatefacilitiesmanagementSOPsandplaybooksthateach location canleverageto reduce environmentalandsafety risks while promotingsafe workplace behaviors.
- Ensure adherence togovernment regulations andSIEEHSpolicies procedures and industry standardsandsupportthe Workplaceteam inimplementingnew requirements tomaintainsafety-conscious operations
- SupportAMER & EMEA regionoffice emergency evacuation programincludingthe development andmaintenanceoffacilityprocedures coordination with key partners ( Security Site Leads) andmanagementofevacuation drill schedules.
- Identifyimprovement opportunities tomitigatebusiness interruption and other risksSIEmay face. Incorporate continuous improvement processesidentifiedduring exercises orincidents( outages naturaldisastersand health emergencies)inaccordancewithrules and instructions set byESGTeam.
- Evaluate operational feasibility and ROI for proposed Workplace EHS initiativesand capital investmentsin partnership with ESG and Workplace leadership.
- Support broader Workplace initiatives asbusiness needsevolve including program management operational readiness and cross-functional coordination in a global multi-site environment.
Qualifications:
- 8 years experience Environmental Health and Safety-related job experience preferably in a gaming or tech environment.
- Strong understanding of core environmental health and safety standards such as (but not limited to) OSHA EPA and any State programs.
- Experience in project management and thinking through hypothetical scenarios and concepts to identify risks and/or weaknesses in various business processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify inefficiencies or gaps and recommend effective solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders to drive a consistent EHS and business continuity approach.
- Certifications for EHS (ASP/CSPCHMMIOSH DSE NEBOSH)are an added benefit but not required.

At SIE we consider several factors when setting each roles base pay range including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.
Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location.

$194200 - $291400 USD
