Position Overview
The firm is seeking a strong accounting professional to join its leadership pipeline at the Senior Accountant Supervisor or Manager level depending on experience and capability.
This role focuses primarily on accounting and bookkeeping review work for small business clients along with selected compilation engagements and one review engagement. It is well-suited for someone with strong technical accounting skills excellent attention to detail and confidence working in a public accounting environment.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Review

Review bookkeeping and accounting work prepared for small business clients.

Oversee monthly accounting processes cleanup projects and year-end close.

Manage a limited number of compilation engagements and one review engagement.

Ensure financial statements and supporting documentation are accurate complete and compliant.
Client Support

Serve as a point of contact for small business clients addressing accounting-related inquiries.

Participate in client meetings alongside senior staff and partners when needed.

Maintain proactive responsive and professional communication with clients.
Workflow & Project Management

Manage multiple client engagements and deadlines simultaneously.

Ensure projects progress efficiently and are delivered on time.

Identify potential issues early and recommend practical solutions.
Systems & Tools
Qualifications

Strong technical accounting knowledge and skill set.

Recent public accounting experience working with small business clients.

Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP compilation engagements and review procedures.

Experience reviewing staff work and providing constructive feedback.

Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
