    POSITION: School Improvement Leader

    BASE SALARY: $95000 - $110000 - Based on experience

    WORK SCHEDULE: 210-day work calendar

    START DATE: 2026-2027 School Year

    QUALIFICATIONS

    1. Valid state license issued by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners
    2. Masters degree in Education Curriculum and Instruction Educational Leadership or a related field
    3. Prior leadership experience supporting the implementation and sustainability of MTSS across district or building levels
    4. Demonstrated expertise in instructional coaching adult learning theory and effective instructional and behavior-support practices
    5. Proven ability to build trusting professional relationships facilitate high-quality professional learning and lead change initiatives
    6. Strong facilitation communication collaboration and interpersonal skills

    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Support schools in the development implementation and monitoring of school improvement plans with a focused emphasis on behavior systems and MTSS
    2. Collaborate with principals and leadership teams to strengthen schoolwide and classroom-based behavior practices aligned to district priorities
    3. Support the implementation of evidence-based behavior initiatives including Tier 1 Tier 2 and Tier 3 supports.
    4. Facilitate the use of multiple data sourcesï½including behavior attendance engagement achievement and perception dataï½to inform decision-making
    5. Guide school teams through continuous improvement cycles to strengthen behavior supports and MTSS implementation
    6. Support goal setting progress monitoring and evaluation of improvement efforts
    7. Prepare reports summaries and presentations related to behavior and MTSS outcomes for district and school leadership
    8. Design facilitate and support professional learning related to behavior management MTSS and inclusive practices
    9. Support instructional coaches teacher leaders and administrators in building capacity to lead behavior initiatives
    10. Model effective facilitation and adult learning practices
    11. Provide feedback and coaching to support implementation of improvement strategies
    12. Foster collaboration across schools departments and teams to promote aligned behavior practices
    13. Communicate clearly and consistently with stakeholders regarding improvement efforts
    14. Support staff engagement in shared decision-making and collaborative problem-solving related to student behavior
    15. Monitor implementation fidelity of district behavior initiatives and MTSS frameworks
    16. Stay current with research and best practices in behavior management MTSS and school improvement
    17. Participate in district leadership meetings and professional learning
    18. Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
