Moran Assistant Superintendent for Human ResourcesSUBJECT: Special Education Teacher or Administrator to Provide DAS Workshop for CTE TeachersPosition Overview Lead the Way in Supporting New CTE Teachers!CTE grant funding is available to support one Special Education Teacher or Administrator to provide targeted professional development for up to seven new CTE teachers with less than three years of this role you will lead six weekly workshops focused on differentiated instruction lesson planning and strategies to meet the needs of diverse learners. You will also assist in developing augmented curriculum scaffolding techniques and practical lesson plans equipping new teachers with a toolkit of actionable resources they can implement immediately. QualificationsSpecial Education Teacher or Special Education AdministratorWillingness to prepare and conduct six weekly workshops (one hour per week) on differentiated instruction and lesson planningWillingness to provide collaborative feedback on strategies and lessons developed and implemented by participating teachersWillingness to coordinate opportunities for teachers to observe or shadow special education classroomsDuties and ResponsibilitiesPrepare and conduct all six weekly professional development workshopsGuide new CTE teachers in implementing differentiated instructional strategies in their classroomsProvide collaborative feedback during workshops on lesson plans and instructional strategiesAssist teachers in developing lesson plans designed to support differently abled students in CTE programsFacilitate or coordinate at least one observation of a special education classroomCompensation - Contractual rate CTE Grant Opportunity FY26 (FC 0419) not to exceed 40 hours including preparation time instruction time review of teacher submission and final report FUNDING SOURCE: Grant Funded (FY26 FC 0419)
