The Role
As a Digital Solution Consultant I with Worley you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
- Technical Execution
- Develop CFD models for steady-state and transient simulations applying appropriate boundary conditions turbulence models and multiphase or heat transfer representations.
- Conduct simulations using commercial CFD tools such as ANSYS Fluent ANSYS CFX or equivalent software to support design and assessment activities.
- Perform checks on mesh quality solution convergence and result interpretation to ensure reliable outcomes.
Apply relevant design codes standards and analytical methods to validate CFD results.
Support multidisciplinary engineering teams with numerical insights and recommendations for system optimisation flow assurance or risk mitigation.
- Prepare detailed analysis reports documenting assumptions methodology results and engineering conclusions.
- Project Delivery
- Deliver assigned CFD analysis tasks within agreed schedules budgets and quality requirements.
- Participate in technical reviews to ensure quality and consistency across simulation senior team members in managing project documentation version control and model traceability
Business Support
- Assist the Software and Simulation Business in Southeast Asia by providing technical expertise demonstrations and proof-of-concept studies that showcase the value of simulation tools in solving real engineering problems.
- Collaborate with the business development team to align technical capabilities with client needs and regional market initiatives.
- Continuous Development
- Maintain awareness of new developments in CFD methodologies multiphase modelling and computational practices.
- Contribute to workflow improvement through automation or scripting where applicable (e.g. Python MATLAB).
- Support internal knowledge-sharing initiatives and contribute to the teams technical database or modelling standards.

- Position Summary
- The CFD Engineer performs professional engineering work requiring sound knowledge of fluid mechanics thermodynamics and heat transfer along with proficiency in computational fluid dynamics (CFD) simulation.
- The role involves developing executing and validating numerical models to assess flow heat and transport phenomena in complex systems applying engineering judgement to solve practical design and operational challenges.
- The CFD Engineer contributes to the delivery of technically challenging projects working under the guidance of senior consultants while progressively developing subject matter expertise in simulation-based engineering.
