Job Summary
Our client is growing and is looking for a dedicatedConstruction Inspector to help with a large reservoir project on the south end of lake Okeechobee to test numerous construction materials including concrete soil aggregate etc.
Position Overview:
As a Construction Inspector you will be responsible for inspecting construction work to ensure compliance with plans specifications codes and regulations. You will work closely with contractors engineers and project managers to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety throughout the construction process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Inspect construction projects at various stages for quality safety and compliance with regulations
- Document findings maintain detailed inspection reports and update project files
- Run concrete and soil tests to ensure strength and stability
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry best practices
- Collaborate with engineers clients and fellow team members
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A year of experience in construction (concrete is preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation
- Ability to obtain or have your ACI (American Concrete Institute) certification with in the first 3 Months.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification as a Construction Inspector (ACI ICC or similar)
- Experience with infrastructure public works or commercial projects
